Behind The Scenes of a Dated Bathroom Part 2. In the first part, we discussed the building of the outdated bathroom and the design preferences of the client. We’ll now look over the floorplans in further detail.
Behind the Scenes of a Dated Bathroom, Part 2 should be entertaining. We’ll show you some of the exciting things that go into a bathroom redesign, as well as how we transform a dated bathroom into a gorgeous and magnificent bathroom. So stay tuned to watch how we handle Part 2 of this dated bathroom.
A Look Behind the Scenes of an Old Bathroom and a New Floorplan
We’ll show you the floorplan now that we’ve covered the construction rules in part 1 of this bathroom. We’re dealing with a 12×6 bathroom, which is somewhat long but just wide enough for our needs. When you first enter the bathroom, there is a linen closet, a tub, and a sink, and, of course, a toilet on the opposite side of the tub and linen closet. Take a look at the photo below.

The bedroom is also connected to this floorplan. If you look closely, you’ll notice a sliding French door that connects the master bedroom to the newly renovated master bathroom. This is something my client has always desired but had no idea she could have in her room until now. As a result, when she noticed this in her design, she was so pleased.
My thoughts on this Behind the Scenes of a Dated Bathroom makeover so far?
I’m overjoyed that my client will get a wall to enclose her toilet, as well as a linen closet, as you can see. All of this makes me ecstatic to know that she will get exactly what she desires in this design. I ran this by my contractor first, as I always do, and he told me that this design was feasible.
When it comes to designing my client’s home, our duty is to uncover and interpret their personal design style and then combine it with the architecture in order to create a new expression of timeless design that is uniquely their own. As a result, we are off to the races on this design.
What is next for this bathroom makeover?
Once we receive the go-ahead from the builder and most importantly, the person I’m designing for. We can move forward with this project. As part of this process, we create a Personalized design for millwork and cabinetry as well as schedules for all of the hard surfaces and finishes that will be used in the project (flooring, tile, countertops, paint, and wallpaper).
To conclude part 2 of this 3 part series.
Please accept my apologies. I know I said three parts, but there will be many more before we reach the finish line. I’ll keep you posted on what’s going on behind the scenes of this dated bathroom. Furthermore, I will continue to provide you with progress updates because I promise it will be worthwhile.
Thank you for taking the time to read Behind the Scenes of a Dated Bathroom. This post is simply too long to be contained in a single post. As a result, this bathroom will be covered in a multi-part series. Please return for the next installment. Material selection
