My Christmas Dining Table – A Festive and Elegant Holiday Setup

Welcome to My Christmas Dining Room! While I’ve shared other parts of my home already, I decided to give my dining room a special spotlight of its own this year. Are you ready to see the festive magic I created?

While I should probably call this my Christmas Dining Room Table instead, as it’s the main feature I decorated (I’m currently renovating other areas of the space), I’m excited to show you how I transformed the table for the holiday season.

My Christmas Dining Table’s Color Scheme

Whenever I start a decorating project, I begin with a plan, and this setup is no different. I kept the color palette simple, pulling from the green, gold, and cream tones used throughout the rest of my holiday decor. From there, I selected a centerpiece that would enhance my place setting while adding texture.

For my centerpiece, I reused a stunning tree bark garland from last year’s tree (check out the photo below!). It added a rustic, yet chic touch to the table, perfectly complementing the overall look. I embellished it with miniature Christmas trees, creating a festive and natural focal point. Below, you’ll find a video showing how I pulled everything together for a simple but elegant result.

Recreate My Elegant Christmas Dining Table in 8 Easy Steps

It’s easier than you might think to create a chic, holiday-ready dining table! Here’s my 8-step process for setting the perfect Christmas table:

1. Begin with Forest Green Napkins, keeping them folded at first.
2. Unfold the napkin and fold it lengthwise in half.
3. Lay the folded napkin flat on the table over your placemat.
4. Position your plate charger on top of the napkin for an elevated look.
5. Place a white dinner plate onto the charger for a crisp, clean base.
6. Layer a green plate directly on the white plate for a festive contrast.
7. Add a charming touch by placing a deer ornament on the green plate.
8. Complete the setup by arranging your flatware and glasses for a polished finish.
