Good morning, my lovely friends!
“Every now and then, I have to close my office door and switch off my phone.” As a stay-at-home business mom and wife, I must always be on top of my game. My family is wonderful, and I love them, but I seldom have time to think things through thoroughly. So, how to get motivated to work when everything is so busy?

A normal day in my life consists of visually and tactilely collecting material samples, sketches, and furnishings. We choose fabrics and purchase, receive, transport, and install the components that turn a house into a home.

“Lady Boss” status is something I aspire to and relish.
How to get motivated to work and stay inspired?
Yes, a million inquiries each day…exhausting! I did, however, find that I needed to close the door to my office. As a result, and only then, I was able to go back to work after regaining mental clarity.
It is not simple to become a company owner, and I am sure you all realize this. It took me many months to realize that I needed to secure the office door! I’m discovering that there must be a separation between job and personal life. Both are essential to me and deserve to be given my full attention. Keeping my family apart feels harsh at times, but Moma has a job to do. Are you with me? I’m hoping that by doing so, I’ll be less irritated and more accessible when I need to be.
Firstly, the single most significant thing that has helped me recently is waking up early. Moreover, like two hours before anybody else. Getting up at 5:00 a.m. is a sacrifice, but those two hours are extremely important, and I feel ahead and am happier and nicer as a result. Ha-ha! When my daughter was in school, I used to do all my work when she went to bed at 9:00 p.m.! Between 9 p.m. and 12 a.m., I could do a great deal. As a result, I worked while she and my husband slept. While that is no longer an option, getting up early is one of the most effective methods to maintain motivation for work.
So, let me share with you guys just How to get motivated to work
- Close the door to your office.
- If you can, turn off your phone.
- If you have little children, hire a part-time babysitter.
- Get up early, like two hours before everyone else.
- Make time for yourself to work, and make sure that everyone else is aware of that time.
- Set some firm limits for yourself.
The reality is we have no idea what working mothers with kids at home are giving up or how their lives are going. And we all have various temperaments when it comes to managing our home businesses and families.

Setting boundaries is vital, as is living within our values.
Consider Chic Filet and Hobby Lobby as two examples. They are closed on Sundays, and we have all modified our lives; accordingly, they are also very profitable companies. We are aware that the best time to shop is from Monday to Saturday. It is your business, and you may design a model that is unique to you and your family. It’s difficult because our companies provide us with a genuine feeling of self and achievement, and as a result, we often overexpose ourselves to them.
Therefore, if I can encourage you to do anything, it is maybe to establish certain hours during which everyone in your family is aware that mom is working. They will learn to value those hours, but they will also recognize the hours that are solely for them.
