The purpose of this post is to help you think about what you are grateful for, what are you thankful for, and what makes you happy?
If you know me then you would know just how unhappy I was in 2017, that was the year I lost my brother in a horrible car accident. From that moment forward life was different, it looked different it was different.
Furthermore, I tell you all this to say that out of this tragedy I never thought I’ll be happy again. Friends, I had to find a happy place within myself and look up to see that I still had lots to be thankful for. Back then saying I was thankful or grateful about anything would make me feel guilty. Feeling guilty became natural because I never wanted to move on without my brother. Leaving my brother behind was a problem for me and that is how I felt. NEVER did I want that feeling.
After suffering through the most terrible period of my life, I now comprehend this. I can assist someone else discovers their happy spot, or at the very least find something to be grateful for. I also understand that nothing will ever allow me to abandon my brother. He’s right here with me right now, and he’ll be with me forever.
Why Should We Be Grateful?
I will discuss what 5 things I’m grateful for every day but first, I would always ask you to Be you, do you, for you🌞and be grateful for it!
Keep smiling as life is one beautiful thing filled with so many things to be happy about.
We are living through such a hard time and many of us are dealing with a lot of unknowns and personal struggles. There is no denying that it is not an easy time and if you give your mind the power, it will completely engulf you.
There are many things to be grateful for daily
Every day, what we are grateful for should be the thing or things on which we should concentrate, especially now. Maintain a positive mind, spirit, and attitude by focusing on the positive rather than the negative.
I take delight in getting up every day with a smile on my face and just thanking our heavenly father for giving me and my loved ones another day to live. In addition, I appreciate the attention to detail in this article, particularly the section on waking up and being appreciative.
When life is so crazy, I know it’s difficult to just grin every day, but my husband constantly tells me, “Someone out there has it worse than us,” and sometimes you will have it worse than someone else. As a result, let us make today a good day.
How I Found My Happy Place?
When everything appeared incorrect and out of the ordinary, I had to search within myself. While life will never be the same following my brother’s death, one day I glanced around and realized how much I still had. My lovely husband and daughter were still around, and I needed to lean on them, which they graciously did. In addition, I am grateful for the love and strength that my heavenly father has bestowed upon me. He provided me with a family to draw on. During that time, my husband and daughter had to put up with my absence. I felt like I couldn’t move forward at the time, but they were there for me. In addition, I am happy for the opportunity to have had my brother, who is a fantastic person in my life.

This was a special time with my husband and daughter at Myrtle Beach. This was our 25th year Anniversary in 2017. I am so appreciative of this moment in time.

Grateful for the time we had at Myrtle Beach on our 25yr Anniversary! 2017 was a tuff year ( the worst) for me. This is the year I lost my brother, but somehow I found a way to be thankful. Thanks to my family. I am sure you are wondering what’s in the box. A beautiful surprise wedding ring.

Fun times! I’m so grateful for these two people. Almost five years ago and I am still grateful.
Gratitude is everything, and it can completely transform your perspective on life. Instead of focusing on what you lack, consider what you do have. Furthermore, I challenge you to say to yourself “I am” grateful for something!
Here are 5 things I am grateful for

What are 5 things you’re grateful for every day? You can write them down or share them with your friends or even make a mental note of the things you’re grateful for every day.
